Sunday night I finally committed and I cut Emily's hair. I have been saying that I would do it since she was about 12 months old because she was kind of sporting a mullet. I just couldn't stand the thought of cutting off her cute curls in the back of her hair so I always wussed out. This last week though I noticed that you could finally see layers of hair and the mullet was getting a little out of control. Sunday, we saddled up on the kitchen table, comb, water glass, and scissors, and we finally did it. I cut a little more off than I had hoped but it is all even now and is an adorable little bob.
Now if only the front of her hair would grow....

Yes, that is her hair on the plate being saved for baby-book purposes! I haven't been good about recording her teeth coming in, but you better believe I am keeping that first lock of hair!

Morgan, I hope you don't mind that I found you through Tara's blog. You have the cutest family. Where are you living right now? I would love to hear from you, check out my blog... (Amy Ence)
Way to go for not wussing out! Emily looks so cute with her new hair, you did a great job! I have been wanting to cut Sydney's mullet off too. I just don't have the guts to. Especially sense her hair is just starting to grow and thicken!
Oh, its so cute but I loved her little mullet curls!
What a cute little bob!! You did a great job Morgan!
Andi will be 3 next month and has yet to have her first hair cut! She already went through that mullet stage and now it's getting cute and long... or at least i think so!
She looks so cute!
She is so cute! I can't believe how big she's getting. I'm dreading the first haircut and Scarlett is months away from it. lol
Cute! I can't wait to see her at church with her new haircut!
Is it sad that I felt the same way cutting Will's hair once? He had beautiful curls at the back of his head and I loved them. I'm terrible too about the milestones but I definitely kept the hair. Good job on the cut.
