Easy Peasy

The other day, the girls did a really fun craft (and the clean up wasn't horrible which is usually what keeps us from doing crafts around our house....just be sure to wipe the paint off the table before it's dry!) I just got a 2 paper plates, cut out the center, and let the girls go at it with green paint. Then we finished it off with red berries and a ribbon, and they made themselves a cute little Christmas wreath. I really wish I did little things like this more often. Who cares that it makes a mess...messes can clean up. I shouldn't be so uptight. My girls LOVED it and both seemed very focused. Gracey especially, making her berries.

And the finished product.

But of course, putting it on your head is much more fun!!!!!

Nice. I left out only one of Gracey's red eyes. Who does that?

Morgan,I love your blogs. Great craft idea. Will has been super into crafts suddenly so I'm glad you posted the reminder for this easy one. He's been making pop up cards galore. I don't think I can stand another pop up polar bear holding a present. Okay, that's not true. they're cute.
Good job girls!

Fun! We are going to this very soon! Thanks for the idea!

And yes about the one red eye haha!...I was thinking that was weird!

Cute idea! I'm also one of those moms who rarely lets their kids do things because I dread the mess. I'm trying to be better, too. I don't even own paint anymore I'm that bad! We do however have playdoh.

I love the one red eye! Cute craft. You are a fun mom. My poor kids...That's all I gotta say.

Cute idea! perhaps I will have the girls make the same thing. They love crafts but I never let them do anything crafty because things just get out of hand.

But I could handle this sort of craft...I think.

Those are very cute. I am the same way....I don't let my daughter do a lot of things because they are too messy. I guess we just need to chill and let them have some fun!

I'm such a freak when it comes to messes, too! You've inspired me, though. I think I'll do a craft with Kenley tomorrow (maybe even one with GLUE!).

I fully understand the desire to not have another mess to clean up. We have to multi-task SO much as moms why create another project to worry about? However, I want to do this too!!! You inspire me! Jermaine was called as Ward Mission Leader: a call in which he will grow a lot :)
