Saturday was Gracey's Christmas Dance recital and I am not going to lie and say I didn't get a little choked up. When did my baby start doing dance recitals? Who said she could grow up so fast? I sure didn't give her permission.
Gracey looked like an old pro up there dancing, and she even missed the dress rehearsal. We were all so proud of her and had such a fun time watching her dance.
Gracey loves her dance class so much. It is a really great set up. The class is taught by a 12 year old girl, who has been dancing since she was 3. It is supervised by the mother, who used to teach dance. It is a win/win situation. (or is it win/win/win?) The mother is helping her daughter earn her own money, the daughter is gaining teaching experience, and Gracey gets to have dance class every week for only about $20 a month!
My mom decided last minute to make the trip to watch the recital. It was fun to have her. We always love visitors.

Our little granddaughter is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! What a star she is - so comfortablr and confident and focused. We couldn't be more proud of her,These are the days that make it all worthwhile and build another block on the wall of bonding. She is our sunshine every day! She is such a cutie! I had to watch it twice, because the first time I kept getting stuck watching that girl to her right play around. Gracey looks like a pro already!
