The Hills Are Alive...

With the sound of Music!!

On Monday night, Gracey and I attended the musical at Tuachan Amphitheater with my brother, his fiance, my dad, and step mom. It was a lot of fun and the play was SO GREAT! I was so happy to see Gracey love all the songs. I just might have to go buy the original for her to wear out like I did. Do they even have it on DVD? I hope so.

I just thought Gracey was feeling the cool water until she looked up and said "Mom, I can't reach the money!"

Gracey getting her picture taken with Maria and Captain Von Trapp! Who, by the way, did such a fantastic job!

They all worked for me! It looks like your Beaver trip was a lot of fun. I am so sad that we don't get to do our annual camping trip. I miss the mountains....

It was so fun seeing you even though we didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked. Next time maybe!

Ok...so the man who plays captain vonn trapp is also the lead in Les Miserable and he is so good! I thought he was a bit old for the Sound of Music, but his voice is gorgeous. Loved him more in Les Miserable, you need to go see that one too!!! Plus, have your parents get your tickets and tell them you are a resident and they will give you 25 percent off.

oh and weren't the kids who played in it so cute!!! Three of them are friends of ours...including the littlest one! Her name is Emme and she is so cute! She did a great job, I thought.

I love Tuachan!!!!!I thought the same thing that Holly did about Captain Vonn Trapp being the lead in Les Miserable, I think that Maria was also one of the actors in Les Miserable. We didn't get to see the Sound of Music but if it has some of the same actors I am sure that it was just as good!

By the way...they do have the sound of music on DVD. I only know that because we are well on our way to wearing it out! =)

How fun! I had the same problem..I could only see that first picture but not the rest. Triscuit and I are thinking of going to see Les Mis there in September (Im hoping to head down there for a triathlon).

Morgan,
what Monday did you go to Tuachan? I think we were there that same night. We went on the 7th. That is so funny - I can't believe we didn't see you. I agree it was amazing. I took my girls and my little neice. We had so much fun. I am so jealous you got photos with the Cpt and Maria. The cabin looks so fun. I bet you love living so close to your family.

What fun to take your daughter too! My most favorite movie and yes, our DVD is on it's way to being worn out as well!

Do you think my kids would sit still through it? I thought it looked like fun but wasn't sure. Oooh...maybe I should take Pammie for a date! And I have the DVD, so yes they have it. I love that Gracey trying to get the money! So funny.
