Cinderella and Luciber

Gracey woke up from her nap a little earlier than normal this afternoon. I tried to to coax her back into bed but didn't want to put up too much of a fight because I finally got Emily to take a nap. *see picture below

I basically relented and said do whatever the heck you want, my dear, as long as it keeps you quiet. The activity of choice? Dress up like a princess. Favorite prop? Penny of course. Only her new name as of this afternoon is Lucifer. Or in Gracey's pronunciation, Luciber. And one more thing, don't you dare call Gracey "Gracey." From what she has said, her choice of princess name for the day is Cinderella.

And here is my favorite sight of the day. After refusing her morning nap and trying to refuse her afternoon nap, this is how I found #2. She managed to climb out of her play pen. That must have been the straw that broke the exhausted camels back, because she was out cold in a matter of minutes. I still love her, even after being a royal nightmare...along with Gracey, and having to go to the DMV (and pay a ridiculous amount of money to have my car registered in Arizona), Petco, and Staples (not for paper, pencils, or any type of office supply but because I knew theys old water bottles and my girls were dying of thirst). Yes, that was a lot of paranthesis.

We have been having a hard time with nap-time lately too. I don't know what it is. I love miss Cinderella and Luciber. Sounds all too familiar.

We all have a little Cinderella in us..how cute she is!!! I miss those days with Madison, she's "to old" to play dress-up mom geezz. And lucky you, you get to do it twice with Emily :) Sleep is never a problem for us anymore the kids love to sleep as much as me..it does get better :)

I here ya on the ridiculous DMV fees in AZ. I once paid over $700 to register a car. It was new so I knew they'd be high, but COME ON! Sorry you had to deal with that. No fun!

I love the picture of Gracey and Luciber/Penny. That's excactly how I held my cats when I was her age. Good thing Penny is a such a sport. And Penny has gotten so big! I thought that she was just a kitten!

My girls slept on their floor for a few weeks, because they didnt understand they needed to stay in their beds! (we have the kind of crib, where you can take off one of the sides, and make it a day bed kind of thing) She'll get the gist eventually!

You know... Lucifer/ber is the cat on Cinderella. That's super cute. It's amazing how stubborn these kids can be about their naps isn't it? I'm totally impressed that Emily climbed out of that playpen.
