The trick?
1) A ziplock bag. 2) An O.C.D. mother that keeps the game high, monitors the game at all times, and counts after all the playing is finished.
And just in case you are curious, this is a great game for learning to count, associating objects with counting, and developing fine motor skills! But parents beware, landing on that pesky and dog that will eat your cherries will often times make it a VERY LONG GAME!! Just ask Corky.

I HATE game pieces.
HAHA Jaesi!! I wouldn't even know where to begin.
I love this game. Classic!
I am so glad that I am not the only mom that counts game pieces after the game is over! =)
i love that game.
Good for you. We've managed to keep all our cherries as well, but I have one big question for the makers. Why did they make a game for 2-year-old and NOT INLUDE A FEW EXTRA CHERRIES?!? C'mon Milton Bradley--throw us moms a bone here....
