Since I was in my own little posting funk during May, I decided to play a little bit of catch up. Here goes nothing.
May started out with celebrating my birthday at Chili's. Emily really loved the salsa and after about 20 minutes of shoveling it into her own mouth, we decide to take out the camera just in time to capture her getting a spicy bite. I heard that chocolate soothes a flaming mouth....she liked that idea too!
Then Emily made funny faces at the camera.

The beginnings of my garden was born.

In the middle of May, the temperature was beginning to get a little warm. We thought it would be fun to take the girls up about 10 miles away to Hualapai Mountain Park. There they have camping, hiking, picnic areas, playgrounds, and most fun of all...cooler temperatures. Its nice to live somewhere surrounded by so many different climates.

May 20th, the girls and I drove on up to St. George for a fun filled couple of days. We got to go to Grandma Joyce's, Uncle Jared, and Skyler's softball game.

We helped Markie celebrate her 18th birthday.

We got to hang out with a lot of family that is normally not all in the same place at the same time.

Then we went to Markie's high school graduation. This is where Emily tried on Aunt Bailey's glasses.

And Gracey stole some flowers from Markie's bouquet and then announced that she was getting married! :)

And then Markie finally did it! Congratulations MAR!!!

Then we drove back home where we met up with Corky's brother Audie, and his wife Candice. They have 2 little boys. Blaise, who is 4 days older than Gracey, and Peyton, who will be 1 year old next month. We always have a good time together and are so happy to be living a little bit closer. Anyway, they came for Memorial Day weekend and Blaise and Gracey got to go to a pirate party!

Corky and Audie got to spend a lot of time playing XBOX.
And the kids had a good time playing together. (except Blaise doesn't look too glad in this picture!) :)

During the month of May, Gracey and Emily played a lot of princess. Dressing up was an everyday occurrence there for a couple of weeks.

And finally, Emily got her very first little hair trim. Her bangs were falling in her face all the time and I couldn't take it anymore. Anyone have any tricks on how to get hair on the side of her head to grow. It is growing excellent in the back and top....if only the sides would do the same. She's still cute though!!!! We like her.

If you stuck with me through that whole thing.....you are quite the trooper!! Anyway, there is May. It was fun.

I am sorry the pictures aren't opening up. As I am sure you can imagine since...you just read the mother of all long-blogs, I am not about to make the time to fix those.
Tootles.
The pictures worked just fine for me! Super cute pictures! Emily is so cute! The girls have issues with their hair growing on the sides ... I have no suggestions!

What a fun, busy month! Can't wait to see you next time you come up! You BETTER call, because you will need to meet little Nathan! Love ya!
I love the month re-cap. That is a good idea! How old are your daughters? And why don't I know where you live? I love the dress up pictures. Altough having kids is tough, it is always better to at least have 2, then there is someone to play with, right? Do your girls get along?
