Today, like everyday, I asked Gracey how her day was at school. Today she told me this story, I thought it was worth recording!
"Mom, today Ms. Tina said 'Come here, Grace.' and I said, 'Ms. Tina, it's not Gwace, it's Gwacey." and then I thought 'whateber!'"
When did my 3 year old become such a big girl?
Another story from tonight as we drove home from the bowling alley, Corky was telling Gracey that tomorrow a really big truck was going to come and load our things. He described the truck as being bigger than her head. She said "no, my head is small!" After a few seconds of Corky trying to explain that that is what he meant, I jumped in and told them both to "drop it." Gracey started crying and when we asked her what the matter was she replied "I don't want to drop my head!"
We can't help but smile.

Whateber! what a doll face.
So you are moving soon?!
Good luck with that. Are you going straight to AZ or do you have a little time to celebrate and play?
Funny. Where did she learn the whatever?
Both of those stories made me laugh. What a funny little girl.
How funny! Gotta love them!
She is such a cutie! Does she get that you are moving? How is she handling it?
We will move right to Arizona but take it easy for about a month (install carpeting, paint, build a pantry, fix-ups) Corky begins his new job May 1st. Gracey is totally stoked about the move, I am not sure if she realizes that we aren't coming back to Ft. Irwin though.
And I say "whatever" all the time I think!
I love the little things kids say. Those were so cute!
how cute!! i love that she is 3 going on 16!
if installing carpet, painting, building pantries, and fixing up house is taking it easy...then you are wonder woman. although, it is so fun to see what you picture in your mind come to life. gracey is such a big girl. i wonder if she said whateber out loud to her teacher. that would have been funny.
Too cute. I love kiddy conversations!
Your girls are so cute. It reminds me of the time that Billy and Will were arguing about something (Will kept asking for something and Billy kept saying no). Billy just said to him, "Drop it Will! Just drop it!". To which he responded "But I don't have anything!"
cute!
Cute stories!
Aren't kids sooo freakin funny, I can't handle it. They say some of the funniest things. LOoks like the kids had fun for Easter.
That is so cute. Are you stressed about moving? I hate moving and we have to do it in a couple of months. Yuck.
