This little lady came into our lives at 8:19am, December 27th, 2006. It was a Wednesday morning, and I was so scared. She was a planned csection, so I had all the time to actually think about what was about to happen. (with Gracey, it was unplanned, therefore no time at all to freak out!) During one of my moments of "freak out", I asked Corky and my mom to leave the room and give me some time alone. I remember thinking, "I am not going to do this. I refuse. She can just stay inside me forever and that will be just fine!" Luckily, I had a distinct moment of clarity and my mood and nervousness turned around completely. Then I was excited. I could not wait to meet her. I remember having an ultrasound that morning before they delivered her, it was so exciting to know I would meet her in only minutes. I knew she would be a perfect fit into our family.
And she was! Still is, in fact.

I had a planned csection with my little girl too. No matter how much you try to prepare it just seems like it's never enough. The outcome is totally worth it though. 3 years old! That's crazy. Have fun
I can't believe she's three! I still remember you being pregnant with her. She does look very grown up. I love the picture of her holding up her three fingers!

We just cant believe how grown up she is. She is such a doll and definitely makes us all better people. We just love her so much!
