Day 4 (part 2)

*promise these are almost over.

We went to a football game that afternoon (Saturday) at Michie Stadium. By some miracle, we were able to watch West Point win a football game!! I am pretty sure that Corky wanted to cry because he was so happy. I mean it in the nicest way ever possible because we are true and loyal to the army football team, but they don't win a lot.

After the game, we did a little bit more walking around, trying to take it all in one last time before we said our official goodbye to West Point.

If anybody ever has the opportunity to visit that place, I highly encourage it. There is so much of our nations history that started there. It has been an academy since 1802. It schooled folks like Robert E. Lee, Dwight Eisenhower, Buzz Aldrin, Stonewall Jackson, and Ulysses S. Grant, just to name a few! I am no history buff whatsoever, but it is pretty cool to walk the same grounds as many of those men.

What fun posts!! It was so fun for me and Joe to look through the pictures--Joe is a little West Point sick, I think, because of it...We'd LOVE to go back! Sounds like you guys had a great trip, PLUS laughed like crazy with Jermaine and Zabel. What could be more "West Point-like" than having Jermaine there to entertain you? So glad you guys had such a great time!!
